Antique Chinese Wang Bing Rong Original Porcelain Rouleau Majolica Egret Vase. Real, authentic, not a copy. 13.5 inches tall.  Rare and beautiful. In addition to the green color, there are shades of muted yellow, aubergine and brown enamels.  There is a circular shape about the size of a nickel near the foot of the bird.
Provenance - Private Collection, NJ (US), physician acquired in 1951.
Please note: lack of incised mark on bottom is not an indicator or fraud or copy.  Bingrong's pieces were both marked and unmarked.  This baluster vase pictured is ONE of a pair.  The matching vase reads CHINA in red caps on bottom.  So the smudged red mark shown IS the CHINA designated mark seen prior to 1878.  Thx.
Wang Bing Rong (Bingrong) was a potter/porcelain carver who applied technique of carving bamboo and ivory to porcelain.
Perfect condition, displayed only.  No repair or restoration.
