Sand the surface to be painted with a P500 random orbital sander or P1000 to 1200 wet sandpaper and then degrease well (silicone remover).
When working on new or unpainted plastic surfaces, apply a plastic primer and observe the drying time.
Then apply the filler or a primer (1.7 or 1.8mm nozzle size),
Processing temperature at least 20°C.
Sand the surface well with the appropriate grit of wet sandpaper. smooth.
Then clean with silicone remover, the surface must be free of dust (we recommend a tack cloth) and grease.
Before applying the paint, check the shade (make a spray sample).

The 2K or base coats should be processed with a 1.3 or 1.4 mm nozzle size with 2-3 spray coats and even pressure.
The temperature should be at least 20°C.
The 2K colors are approx. Dust-dry after 20-30 minutes. After 2 days, the 2K paint is completely dry and fully cured after 4 days.
If you are not satisfied with the degree of gloss or want to protect the paintwork, you can apply a 2K clear coat if you wish.
In the case of basic colors (ready-to-spray metallic or UNI), after approx. 20-30 minutes flash-off time (color dulls) can be painted over with a 2K clear coat.

Our primer recommendation:
We offer epoxy filler primer in our eBay shop. This creates rust protection and a filler structure at the same time. As a rule, these primers or fillers are grey. But that doesn't always work. For example, you should use a white filler for red top coats so that the red tone gets a higher brilliance. Likewise, light-colored basecoats or paints with a high pearl content often have low opacity. A primer or the Epox Filler in the subsequent color is required there. Likewise, almost every new car today is already pre-treated on the assembly line with a colored filler, which is also cheaper for small impacts, since the lower layer is the same color as the upper layer of paint. A filler in the color of the car also reduces the amount of top coat required because it covers faster.

Coating of plastics:
Plastics that have already been painted can be painted without any problems after roughening them. If the existing layer of paint has been sanded off or the plastic is raw, a bonding agent must be sprayed. If the plastic is exposed to vibrations, the paint can crack. Touch-ups:
Blending in is also referred to as a "spot repair". Apply a small amount of primer and filler to the area to be painted. Adjoining clear coat areas are finely sanded as well. Apply the base coat in thin layers from the inside to the outside so that the paint mist does not settle on the surface. Only use the last coat of paint to apply the base coat from the outside to the inside. Now the clear coat is sprayed over the painted area. Then add 50% fade-out thinner to the clear coat and spray the transition area. Finally spray pure blending thinner again over the entire area and the transition.
Uni lacquers in matt:
All plain paints (single-layer 2-component paints) are high-gloss. These are usually mixed 2:1 with hardener +15% thinner. All of these 2K uni paints are also available in MATT on request. However, this new trend usually has to be mixed 4:1 with hardener + 50% thinner. The price usually stays the same.
