    Description

    This is an oldie in excellent condition! This 5/8" F.D uniform marked button is silver metal on the front side and brass on the reverse side. The shank is straight. There is no damage in any way to this button. It is very well marked M.C. LILLEY & CO. ***Buttons made by this company were marked, as this button is, "M.C. LILLEY & CO" FROM 1865 until 1881 when M.C. Lilley passed away. After his death the word "THE" was added to the marking. This Fire Dept. (F.D) uniform button was manufactured at some point between 1865 and 1881. Please examine photos for more information.
